The hoses carry paint and compatible coatings from an airless sprayer to the spray gun, and every hose in the line features a conductive core, superior abrasion and chemical-resistant construction, steel spring bend restrictors and corrosion-resistant fittings.
Fittings vary by model. The paint spray hoses are equipped with corrosion-resistant female NPSM fittings on both ends, sized to match the hose — 1/4-inch fittings on the 1/4-inch hose and 3/8-inch fittings on the 3/8-inch hose. The whip hoses use a 1/4-inch female NPSM fitting on one end and a 1/4-inch male NPT fitting on the other for direct connection between the main hose and spray gun. Confirm that your sprayer, gun or accessory uses a compatible connection before installation.
Yes. High-velocity coating flow can generate static electricity, and the conductive core helps provide electrical continuity through the hose assembly and dissipate static during spraying. The hose is one part of the grounding path — the sprayer, gun, containers and other equipment must still be properly grounded according to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions.
UBERFLO paint spray hoses are available in 25-foot and 50-foot lengths. A 25-foot hose is easier to manage for nearby work, while a 50-foot hose provides greater reach and lets the sprayer sit farther from the spray area. Choose a length that reaches the work area without stretching or sharp bending, and check your sprayer manufacturer’s minimum and maximum recommended hose lengths.

Every UBERFLO hose is rated for a maximum working pressure of 3,300 PSI. Every component in the spray system — hose, gun, fittings, adapters and accessories — should be rated for the pressure produced by the sprayer.
A whip hose is a shorter, more flexible hose installed between the main paint hose and the spray gun. It reduces the amount of full-size hose the operator moves directly behind the gun, making the gun easier to maneuver and position while spraying. A whip hose is optional for many systems, but it is a popular upgrade for all-day spraying. It is designed to supplement the main hose, not replace it.
The spring guards on both ends help reduce sharp bending and concentrated stress near the fittings, where repeated flexing can contribute to premature hose damage. Proper routing and handling are still necessary to prevent kinks.
UBERFLO hoses are designed for compatible water-based and oil-based paints, stains, primers, sealers and similar coatings used in airless spray applications. The chemical-resistant construction helps resist degradation from commonly used paint solvents, but compatibility varies by formulation — always check the coating manufacturer’s instructions and Safety Data Sheet before spraying unfamiliar materials.

Failure to properly repair or replace hose after exposing braid or the reinforcement layer can cause death, personal injury, and property damage. Like each strand in a bridge cable, each reinforcement fiber plays an exact role in the ultimate burst strength of the hose. A minor slice or nick in the reinforcement can result in total hose failure.
The age of the hose does not matter! It is unfortunate, but even hose used one time can be damaged in severe applications. These hose must be immediately removed from service.
